Creating New Value

A global training/development organization wanted to be more successful in penetrating major accounts with large, multi-year contracts. They partnered with LIS to develop and deploy a unique assessment sales tool.

The LIS Assessment System permits account representatives and their clients to gain instant profiles of training needs. The tool spans 25 content/skill categories, representing nearly 200 course offerings. Custom developed LIS software analyzes behaviors, automatically displays "best" training program solutions, and makes it easy to isolate findings by employee function, level, geography, and other demographics. The system also permits interactive presentations of results and produces ready-to-use proposal inserts that sales representatives use as evidence of need for training solutions. Individual respondents receive instant Web-based feedback along with the opportunity to register for training programs. By applying custom-developed assessment tools, our client differentiates its offerings, broadens the number of solutions, and strengthens its ability to close more sales. They are well along a path for dramatically increasing both individual and large contract sales through an ongoing alliance with LIS.
